When a Hayati Pro Max suddenly stops working, has weak flavours or shows an unexpected display, it can be frustrating, particularly if all that was fine before. Most common problems come down to a low battery, a loose pod, or an empty pod.
Don’t assume the vape has a serious fault before going through the following checks one by one. Most basic issues can be identified without taking the vape apart or attempting complicated repairs.
Start With the Battery
The initial culprit to look at if your Hayati Pro Max isn’t vapourising is the battery. Check the display to determine if it has enough power left.
When the battery is finished, the vape won’t function until it is charged. Plug it into an appropriate USB-C charger and allow time for it to recover. If the battery is entirely flat, let it charge for 30 minutes or more and test to see if the vape responds.
After it is connected, check the screen to confirm charging is in progress. If charging information is displayed, do not unplug the vape and let it charge.
Verify the Pod Connection
The Hayati Pro Max Plus 6000 requires the proper fit of the pod. If you haven’t secured the pod properly, or it’s loose, the vape may not detect it, and it won’t activate.
Take the pod off and ensure that the pod is in the correct position. Then re-insert it, pressing it firmly in.
Make sure the pod sits securely rather than moving around inside the connection. After reinstalling it, try taking a draw again.
If reseating the pod fixes it, the issue was the connection – not a fault with the vape.
Weak Flavour Usually Points to the Pod
Not all problems are related to the battery. In other cases, the vape starts working as usual, but its flavour is compromised.
If the flavour loses its taste, inspect the e-liquid level in the pod. When the pod is nearly empty, it should be replaced.
The same applies if the flavour develops an unpleasant burnt taste. Always replace an empty or depleted pod rather than using it over and over again.
This can be made easier because the Hayati has a display, as the e-liquid indicator will show when the liquid is low. If you don’t want to assume that there’s a problem with the vape, check the screen first.
What to Do When the Vape Will Not Fire?
If your Hayati Pro Max is still not working after charging, try the basic configuration process once again.
First, check if the vape’s battery is sufficiently charged. Then take out and securely replace the pod. The vape must sense that a proper pod is inserted in order to function.
If the battery and the pod look normal, take a regular breath through the mouthpiece. Sometimes the vape can stop working because of overuse, which leads to overheating. So let it rest for a while.
If it still doesn’t respond, contact the manufacturer.
Screen Not Working During Charging
A display that does not appear to boot up properly while charging can indicate an issue with the charging setup.
Start by checking the USB cable. If possible, switch to another compatible USB cable and connect the vape to a different suitable power source.
It can be a quick way to see if the issue is with the cable/power or the vape. Check the charging connection to make sure that it is free from visible dirt, moisture or physical damage. Never try to push a cable into the charging port.
If replacing the cable and power source does not activate the screen at all, contact the store for further troubleshooting.
When a Pod Replacement Is the Best Fix?
Sometimes it is easier to replace the pod than to repeatedly try to troubleshoot the vape. If the battery is charged and the vape detects the presence of the pod but the flavour is not great and/or is burnt, the pod might be nearing the end of its use.
Remove the used pod and fit a new compatible Hayati pod. Before taking a draw, be sure that the replacement is in place.
This is especially important for the Hayati models with a prefilled swap-out system. The pod contains the e-liquid and coil, so replacing it addresses problems associated with an empty or depleted pod.
When to Contact the Store?
If the battery is charged, the pod has been tested, you’ve tested another compatible charging cable and power source, and the Hayati Pro Max still does not work, then contact the store that you bought it from.
Describe what happens when you try to use or recharge the vape, and mention any troubleshooting you’ve already tried. The retailer can advise on repair, replacement, or warranty options.
